The issue of teenage pregnancies continues to be a hot topic, an earsore and nauseating yet it almost seems not to bother anyone of great influence.
It's reported that teen pregnancy numbers have gone beyond 150,000. These are primary and high school kids. Young mothers who cannot even feed themselves.
It was noted, with great disappointment that most of them were forced to engage in sexual acts to secure themselves sanitary pads, some raped by their own family.
This is sad.
Remember the One Packet Initiative? They will be delivering their promise to the girls of Baringo County, so much with your help.

"We are so grateful for those who have seen what a bad state our girls have been left in and the lives of other little ones whose futures are uncertain. Monsters live among us. We as the people coming together can and will stop this inhumane and unprecedented acts on our future mothers, and aunts," Vincent Mseri, an active member of the One Packet Initiative said.
One Packet Initiative will be launching its first sanitary bank in Baringo, Marigat kapkuikui on 25th September in partnership with Linah Comen Foundation and the area administration.
The bank will run through out, such that the girls will be collecting a packet every month.
