Today, the Ministry of Health CS has announced the highest number of positive coronavirus cases, 66 cases, with Mombasa having the highest number at 30.
All the cases he said, are in a stable condition. They are in isolation to prevent infections. He emphasized that anyone can get the virus and asked Kenyans not to discriminate or stigmatize the positive cases.
Kenya Covid-19 Summary Today
The 66 positive cases have been obtained from 2,621 samples tested in the last 24 hours. This brings to 49,405 the total number of samples tested to date, and the cumulative case load is 1,029.

Further Cessation Period for Eastleigh, Nairobi
In order to contain further spread of coronavirus, the cessation of movement in and out of Eastleigh in Nairobi has been extended until Saturday, the 6th June 2020.
Further, malls, eateries, restaurants to remain closed and hawking prohibited until Saturday, the 6th June 2020.
Donations from the East Africa Community Secretariat
In other news, the East Africa Community (EAC) Secretariat has procured mobile labs to enhance testing of truck drivers. One lab will be stationed at the Namanga border point and another one in Naivasha.
"We would like to thank the German Embassy for giving us mobile labs, to do COVID-19 tests onsight especially at the Namanga border point." said CS EAC and Regional Cooperation, Adan Mohamed.
