When that first drop
Touches your skin
The feeling
The ignition that gets you alerted
The excitement
Or fear
Or the panic that grasps
It is the moment they choose
To go running and hiding
Or take the opportunity
To cherish the moment
You take it
The uplifting,
The smell of the rain
And the new aura
The settling dust
The madness
You always dreamt of
You always imagined
The zone
Where you feel you will always be at
But
You never know when
The goodness starts fading
The cold starts biting
When the road gets slippery or when
The street and the alleys
All get empty
That you can’t tell when
The last drop falls
Maybe there is actually
Nothing like
Dancing in the rain!
